The latest variant in the Ford Fusion range, Fusion Plus was recently introduced in the market by Ford India. It is an exciting new variant to the Ford Fusion range. Fusion Plus is available in 1.6 litre petrol and 1.4 litre diesel versions priced at Rs 6, 16,500 and Rs 6, 83,500 respectively. The users are being promised superb value for money invested.

The new Fusion Plus delivers a superior combination of performance, fuel efficiency, driving dynamics and ride comfort and is enhanced with additional features and distinctive styling, in response to consumer feedback. The car proffers adequate headroom, legroom and shoulder room. Ford’s Fusion Plus also comes with a height-adjustable driver's seat as well as power adaptable outside rearview mirrors. In tow with other features in Fusion Plus, is an all-new anti-lock breaking system (ABS). It provides greater control to the driver during emergency braking.

Further it has "Lozenge" shaped headlamps with integrated turn indicators, turning radius of 4.9 meters which is well suited to congested city conditions, Best–in-class ground clearance of 198mm that offers excellent drive on Indian roads – city or highway, Power steering, All Power windows, Plush dual-tone interior, Soft-touch dash panel, Distance-to-empty indicator and a digital clock are some of its key features. Approach lights activated by key FOB activate the vehicle's interior and exterior lights to illuminate the vehicle for additional safety in poorly lit, dark locations. Some other important features are intelligent rear wipers, Defoggers, Front 12-volt accessory power socket, Programmable keyless entry and Over 10 innovative storage spaces inside the car.

The 1.6 Duratec petrol engine of the Ford Fusion plus delivers 101PS at 6500rpm and 146Nm of torque at 3400rpm. Buyers can also have the new Fusion Plus with aluminum alloy 1.4L Duratorq TDCi engine providing 68PS at 4000rpm. It is learnt that this turbo-diesel engine does no compromise in proffering cheap fuel consumption and a healthy torque curve. The Fusion Plus is available in wide range of colors including Brush Steel, Mystic Wine, Moon Dust Silver, Panther Black, Diamond White and Paprika Red.

There are more features and styling enhancements the new Fusion Plus will sport. These include 15-inch alloy wheels which add a lot of muscle and character to car. The unique feature like body colored outside rear view mirrors, body-color bumpers, door handles, side moulding, flexible boot space and deck lid makes it look better than ever before.
